Join our Stakeholder Advisory Board
The Stakeholder Advisory Group (SAG) is a core governance and co-design mechanism for the MCAS project. It ensures the voices, priorities, and lived experiences of Scotland’s Ethnic Minority (EM) communities are central to all aspects of project design, delivery, and learning. The SAG acts as a critical friend to the partnership, providing:
Strategic input into the development and adaptation of activities within the Nature Connection and Energy Resilience strands.
Community insight to ensure the project reflects cultural, social, and economic realities faced by EM communities.
Oversight and accountability, helping to monitor progress against the project’s Theory of Change and outcomes.
Advocacy and outreach, connecting the project to wider networks, stakeholders, and communities.
Become a Peer Volunteer

The role of Peer Guides within the MCAS project is to use their vital lived experience of Scottish ethnic minority communities and passion for climate justice, to support community members to get most out of the project, ensuring our workshops and trips are relevant and relatable to group members lives.
